5 Question Friday

1. If you had a weekly newspaper column, what would you name it?
That’s a tough one. Maybe Ask A Anything…boring, I know. ๐Ÿ˜›

2. Who is your mentor/inspiration?
My Mom.

3. What is your wake up beverage of choice?
Caribou Northern Lite White Chocolate Mocha ๐Ÿ˜€

4. Would you wear your mom’s clothes?
If they fit me, sure… well, some of them. ๐Ÿ˜‰ My Mom is tall and skinny… kind of the opposite of me. I’m built like a tank and my Mom is more like a swan. ๐Ÿ™‚

5. When you were a kid, did you put posters on your wall? If so, what were they of?
Haha, I remember having an entire wall COVERED in pictures out of teen magazines.

  1. First of all, you are not built like a tank. Second of all, I have been meaning to post something about your last blog on disciplining toddlers….I have had so much experience in this department and my overall philosophy is that there is never an age that is too young to start with time-outs. You have to assert yourself when they are young, and instill all of the manners you can, because you have a very small window and then the outside world comes crashing in and if your kids aren't well behaved then you are going to have that much harder of a time dealing with them later when they are older. As far as the temper tantrums go…that is a big no, no. I don't believe in walking over the kid and letting them get away with that type of behavior. A time out, in a crib, for even two minutes, (you MUST leave the room,) will do wonders. They are smart. If they know what they want, they also know what they don't want. Good luck! It's hard, but sooooo worth it. Be strict now and loosen the reigns when they get it down. xoxo
